The article examines the principles of health protection, on the one hand, it performs an independent function in regulating pub lic relations, on the other hand, it is directly related to the principles of the welfare state. Together, they have an impact on the organization of social security and activities in the field of healthcare, as well as ensure the adaptation of social legislation to constitutional requirements. The author substantiates the thesis according to which the principles of health protection are interrelated components that make up one of the main elements of the welfare state – the legal module health protection”.
