Biotechnologies and Their Role in the Reali zation of the Human Right to Life and the Right to Health

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the transformation of public and state life, its legal regulation under the influ ence of biotechnology. Through the prism of theoretical foundations and analysis of constitutional and programmatic-strategic regulation, law enforcement and achievements of modern technologies, the author's vision of the theoretical component of the constitutionally enshrined right to life and health is presented. It is proposed to expand the framework of the right to life and incorporate an expanded understanding of the “right to health” in the form of the “right to health”, taking into account the achievements of convergent technologies. Some public interests in the sphere of ensuring the right to life and the right to human health by the state are highlighted.
