The study reveals the specifics of the legal regulation of public procurement in China, the main purpose of which is to ensure that the customer receives a result for the optimal cost of goods, works, and services. The main tasks of legal regulation are considered: the eradication of corruption and the formation of an incorruptible government, budget savings, the development of competition, improving the efficiency of financial support and management of the procurement system as a whole. The practice of extrajudicial termination of contracts in case of violation of public and private interests is shown.
