The article examines the issues of protecting the rights of owners of premises in apartment buildings in relations with manag
ing organizations, using the example of recovery of moral damage for poorly rendered services or from tort relations. The positions of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on the application of legislation on consumer protection in the housing sector to management organizations are analyzed.
