Features of the Approach to the Development of a Smart City using the Example of the Norwegian City of Stavanger (Article)

Abstract
This review article examines the approach to smart city policy and practice being implemented in the Norwegian city of Stavanger. It draws on the guiding principles presented in urban transformation roadmaps developed at the regional, national, and city levels. The paper demonstrates how the city authorities fulfil the tasks of organizing cooperation among stakeholders, including interdisciplinary research aimed at introducing smart technologies into the urban environment.
