Abstract
The article analyzes the new phenomenon of «involu-tional competition» in competition law, which has become widespread in the high-tech industries of the People's Republic of China. It is a form of destructive market competition characterized by a race for the customer base at the price of long-term losses. In response, China's an-titrust law is transforming from a punitive model to a preventive one aimed at restructuring market mechanisms in order to achieve sustaina-ble development.
