Climate change is a global challenge of our time. The positive effect of the rule of environmental law, especially at the international legal level, can be observed not only in the environmental sphere, but also in strengthening the rule of law in a broad sense and in addressing issues of sustainability of economic and social development, ensuring health, safety, etc. The review presents an analysis of climate change issues through the prism of international legal regulation, understanding the role and importance of the rule of law in environmental issues, including international legal approaches.
