Abstract

Convergence and divergence in the legal field have been attracting the attention of legal scholars for quite a long time. Today, there is renewed interest in this issue, and it is connected with global socio-political processes, as well as with crises – economic, international, pandemic, climate and others. This review article analyzes new scientific research reflecting the high degree of convergence of modern legal systems and the growing «split» between the legal traditions of the world. Examples are given reflecting a balanced combination of trends of similarities and differences in the development of the legal systems of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland after Brexit.
