The review article analyzes the work of civil scientists who study the peculiarities of the legal nature, methods, forms and
means of protecting the property rights of citizens and legal entities, including the right to real estate, legislation and doctrinal approaches to the institution of property protection of property rights. The problems of state guarantees to the owner of real estate, of protection of his rights, forming a system of protection of ownership of real estate objects, are considered.
